Dustin Johnson Wins WGC-Cadillac Championship [video]

Just a month since returning after a leave of absence, Dustin Johnson has earned himself another PGA Tour win.

Following an incredible start to the tournament, J.B. Holmes crumbled on Sunday, finishing one shot behind Johnson with a final round of 75. Bubba Watson started Sunday with four birdies on the first seven holes, giving him a two-stroke lead. However, his back nine wasn’t as impressive, with three bogeys in four holes, resulting in a 71 finish, leaving him two strokes behind Johnson.

Johnson returned in early February from a leave of absence, during which he sought professional help with a “personal challenge”. Apparently the break didn’t have a detrimental effect on his golf form, and his win at the weekend is his ninth career PGA Tour victory. Johnson is now ranked at No. 6 in the world.

When Johnson walked off the 18th, it seemed as if this victory meant more to him than the previous ones. He walked off with his fiancée, Paulina Gretzky, and their two-month-old son, Tatum.
