Mickelson will return to Pebble Beach after one-year absence

After missing the Pebble Beach Pro-Am for the first time in more than two decades due to family commitments, Phil Mickelson will return in February to one of his favorite stops on the PGA Tour.

Mickelson has a strong record at the tournament with four victories under his belt, the most recent being in 2012. He missed the last event for the first time since 1994 as it overlapped with his kids’ school break. However, many of you will be happy to know Mickelson will be returning to Monterey Peninsula in spring.

Mickelson will be eager to pick up his first win since the Open Championship in 2013. Despite the recent lack of victories, the 45-year-old remains a favorite among fans, especially in his native California. As well as his win at Pebble Beach in 2012, Mickelson also won in 1998, 2005 and 2007.
