Rickie Fowler got one of the luckiest breaks you’ll see [video]

Golf’s ‘Big 4’ don’t really need fortunate breaks to compete at the top level, but it’s going to happen regardless. In Thursday’s opening round of the BMW Championship, Rickie Fowler got one of the luckiest kicks you’ll ever see.

Fowler was faced with a 90-yard approach shot on the par-4 16th hole at Conway Farms, his seventh hole of the day. His wedge shot had too much on it, and looked like it was going to skip straight over the green. Instead, with a stroke of luck, it ricocheted directly off Spieth’s ball, which was sitting 10 feet past the hole. Spieth’s ball rolled with some momentum off the back of the green, while Fowler’s bounced straight backwards towards the pin.

You really have to see it to believe it. Continue story and watch the video on the next page.
