We’ve seen some pretty entertaining hole-in-one reactions over the years. It happens more and more these days, but it’s still a pretty social moment nonetheless.
Some players are particularly well known for their lively celebrates. This week, the spotlight goes to Andrew Johnston, also known as ‘Beef’, after he aced Wentworth’s 184-yard 10th hole at Thursday’s opening day of the BMW PGA Championship.
The ball took one or two bounces then dropped straight into the hole. Johnston initially starts walking triumphantly with his hands in the airs. He then catches the attention of his buddy, who I’m assuming is not his caddy, and sprints towards his before throwing himself in the air for a chest pump.
With that hole-in-one, Andrew Johnston won himself a brand new BMW. I reckon I’d feel similarly ecstatic!
