If you are the type of person that avoids taking much interest in golf until the Masters, this should be the year to change. The upcoming WGC-Cadillac Championship is the first event of the 2016 calendar which has seen all members of the “Big Three” taking part. And to make things even more exciting, they’re playing together.
As is customary at World Golf Championship events, the pairings for the first and second rounds were announced on Tuesday, revealing that the top three players in the world, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day, will be playing together. The threesome will kick off their competition at Trump National Doral’s 10th hole at 11.32 a.m. (ET) on Thursday.
However, the “Big Three” is not the only power trio on display.
