It goes without saying that hitting the ball in the center is very important for success on the golf course. How you connect with the ball during impact will determine the direction, length, spin and curve, and getting it slightly wrong can have dire consequences.
If you feel like you’re consistently missing the center of the golf ball, and missing out on that ‘sweet spot’ that everyone talks about, try out this simple drill. It’s really easy, and all you need to do it is a couple of balls and a marker pen.
Start of by drawing a big dot on one of the balls, allowing you to see exactly where it hit the club at the time of impact. You might want to try this one out at the driving range. If this is the case, we recommend using dry-erase markers, preventing the range balls from becoming damaged or marked.
