Rose Wins by a Stroke at Zurich Classic

Seven-time TOUR champion Justin Rose goes 66 holes without dropping a shot to win at TPC Louisiana.

It was a challenging four days for Rose at the Zurich Classic, playing against a tough field on a course made more difficult by recent rainfall. Throughout the weekend, he had to sit through almost 10 hours of delays on his way to winning the tournament.

Rose scored no worse than a par on the last 66 holes of the tournament on his way to finishing with a final round-66 to clinch the victory with a course-record 266 (22-under-par) over the course of the competition.

This win puts him in 15th place in the FedExCup, and Rose now heads to the World Golf Championship-Cadillac Match Play at TPC Harding Park, San Francisco, before heading to Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida for THE PLAYERS Championship the following week. Rose sounds like he’s feeling positive moving forward.
