Tiger to Debut PGA Tour Season at the Waste Management Phoenix Open

We recently wrote about Tiger Wood’s eagerness to sink his teeth into 2015. Starting as he means to go on, Tiger has confirmed that he will be debuting his PGA Tour season later in January.

Woods tweeted on Friday that his first competition of the season would be at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, commencing on 29 Jan. Knowing that he will likely need some time to get back into his game, he is also playing in the Farmers Insurance Open the following week.

Woods’ tweeted: “Starting my year off at Phoenix & Torrey back-to-back weeks. I’m ready to go. Should be a lot of fun.”

Playing is this event will see him going up against some real competition, including Bubba Watson, Jordan Speith, Phil Mickelson and Ricky Fowler. This month will be the first time that Tiger has played the Phoenix Tour competition since 2001. Do you remember his hole-in-one at TPC Scottsdale in ‘97?

In case you forgot, we’ve put a little reminder on the next page.
