Top 10 All-Time Shots from the Island 17th at TPC Sawgrass

The island 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass is one of the most infamous and difficult holes in the game. It’s the course’s signature hole, a 132-yard par three which requires no more than a pitching wedge for most Tour pros.

It’s the moment that players anxiously await the whole round, a hole in which even a slight miscalculation can be very costly.

TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Verde Beach, Florida, is the host of this week’s competition – the PLAYERS Championship. Widely known as golf’s unofficial ‘fifth major’, the PLAYERS brings out one of the best fields in the game. We’re sure to be in for a treat this weekend.
