Unlike winner William McGirt, Dustin Johnson was one of the players whose games fell apart on the back nine in the final round of the Memorial Tournament. Johnson made four bogeys after the turn on his way to a 1-under 71 for the day.
One of the most bizarre shots of the day came on the par-4 10th. Johnson pulled his drive left of the cart path and into the bushes, leaving him barely capable of swinging at the ball. He attempted the only possible option; punching it out onto the fairway.
Johnson watched hopelessly as his ball travelled all of five feet. However, it ended up on the cart path which just so happened to slope down towards the hole. The ball rolled 39 yards among scrambling spectators before coming to rest.
Johnson finished the hole with a bogey.
